A newcomer to suite101.com, Mary-Catherine Amadu is excited to join the writing team. Mary-Catherine studied Spanish at Colby College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. As an undergraduate student, Mary-Catherine spent a year of her undergraduate experience living in Spain and traveling throughout Europe. After graduation, Mary-Catherine entered the Teach for America corps as a kindergarten teacher. During this time she also earned her Master’s in Science for Teachers from Pace University. She currently works as a middle school and high school Spanish teacher at an independent school. When not working or writing, Mary-Catherine enjoys drawing, dancing, and spending time with her loved ones.
